OUR STORY
I am a home baker that enjoys making baked goods for my friends and family. Over the years people have told me I should start a business. So in the fall of 2016 I started baking more and sharing my goodies and after several people told me to start a business, I decided to take the leap and start Spider Monkey's Bake Shoppe. I took a small break from fully doing the business and in the fall of 2020 I have started back up! I have had so much support and can not wait to make something special for you.
Where did my name come from?
I got the name from my grandpa. When I was born and he saw me for the first time he exclaimed Spider Monkey. I was long and skinny and elegant like a one. So my whole life that is what he called me. When I was trying to come up with a name I thought I would honor grandpa and use my nickname. The last time I saw him, he didn't know who I was, but after about an hour of being with him he looks at me and says I know who you are, your Spider Monkey! That's when I knew I made the right decision on the name.
I am saddened that Grandpa passed in the Winter of 2019, but I know he is watching over me and guiding me to success!
